Andrew Gilbert

Executive Vice President and President of QIS and Qualcomm Europe

Andrew Gilbert serves as an executive vice president at Qualcomm and president of Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS) and Qualcomm Europe. He provides strategic direction and oversight of all Qualcomm business development and operational activity in Europe. Furthermore, Gilbert is responsible for leading QIS—a core Qualcomm business as mobile Internet services represent a key growth area for the Company. Gilbert also serves as a member of Qualcomm’s executive committee.

Gilbert joined Qualcomm in 2006 as president of Qualcomm Europe, where he oversaw the development and expansion of Qualcomm’s European operations.

Prior to joining Qualcomm, Gilbert served as vice president and general manager of Flarion Technologies’ European, Middle Eastern and African regions (EMEA), responsible for EMEA strategy and operations. His leadership contributions guided Flarion’s European business through technical and commercial validation with global operators such as T-Mobile and Vodafone, and ultimately to multiple commercial deployments of FLASH-OFDM with T-Mobile in Slovakia and Germany, and with Digita in Finland.
